Each year The Music Center’s Spotlight hold three rounds of auditions for approximately 1,500 Southern California high school applicants before fourteen finalists, and each year there is a grand finale to highlight their extraordinary talents.
Southern California high school students of ALL skill levels are encouraged to apply for FREE. Much more than a competition, The Music Center‘s Spotlight is a scholarship and artistic development program, which empower students by emphasizing preparation, confidence, critical thinking and perseverance while providing an invaluable opportunity for students to hone their audition and performance skills! The Music Center’s Spotlight awards over $100,000 in cash SCHOLARSHIPS to students each year! Application deadline October 18, 2021.
