Soorya Foundation for Performing Arts announced that it will host UTSAV 2020 – Los Angeles Indian Dance and Music Festival on December 19, 2020. The foundation strives to “preserve, protect and propagate Indian Traditional Performing Arts through dance and music festivals, performances, dance productions, lecture-demonstrations and master classes by renowned gurus and performers.” They offer classes for all ages in Bharatanathyam, Carnatic Vocal Music, Nattuvangam and Mrudangam.

WHAT: Soorya Foundation for Performing Arts will host UTSAV 2020 – Los Angeles Indian Dance and Music Festival, featuring Traditional Indian dance and music. Literally meaning Festival, UTSAV now in its third year, will feature award winning, Indian traditional dancers from Los Angeles, Fremont, Maryland, Atlanta, St. Louis and India. This festival is supported by Los Angeles County Department of Arts and culture and Department of Cultural Affairs – LA
WHEN: This virtual event will be telecast live on Facebook and YouTube on December 19th 2020 at 9am and 3 pm.
WHO: The festival will feature award winning dance companies and dancers – Aparna Sindhoor, Sushma Mohan, Deepti Mukund, Seema Kasthuri, Nupur Dance Company, and Aishwarya Raman
