For four days, June 24-27, 2021, in partnership with Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, the City of Los Angeles, The Music Center, and Hanmi Bank, the Walgreens Mobile Bus Clinic will be offering free walk-up appointments for COVID vaccinations in downtown Los Angeles. The Los Angeles stop is only part of a nationwide tour for the Walgreens Mobile Bus Clinic with a mission to provide equitable for some of the nation’s most socially vulnerable populations. There will be space to vaccinate up to six patients at a time and will offering both the Johnson and Johnson and Pfizer vaccines. Ages 12 and up are welcome to get the vaccine with no appointment necessary.
The Bus Tour will make stops at The Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall on June 24, 2021, with a Vaccine Clinic, Incentive Drawings and Free Entertainment in Accessible Location. On June 25th it will stop at Los Angeles Flower Market (Joe’s Auto Parts Parking Lot); June 26th at El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Monument; and on June 27th, the bus will end its four day tour at Santee Alley (Hanmi Bank #03 Downtown Branch). “In addition to incentives offered by Walgreens, The Music Center will hold drawings for prizes including performance tickets and restaurant certificates for individuals who get vaccinated at the Walgreens mobile clinic at Walt Disney Concert Hall. The prize drawings are also open to previously vaccinated individuals who may enter by showing a completed vaccination card at the vaccination clinic at The Music Center.
The Walgreens mobile bus clinic will continue at three additional locations in Downtown L.A., aimed at driving accessibility for underserved and vulnerable populations.
