If you are living in or visiting Washington, D.C. in October and interested in seeing dance on film, for one night only on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm (EDT), the Chamber Dance Project will present New Works, New Places: An Evening of Dance on Film in the Justice Forum at the REACH at John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Each screening runs 80 minutes in length.

Chamber Dance Project company dancers, choreographers and filmmakers joined forces to create seven dance on film works, including three world premieres.  Each film was shot at locations around the country during 2020 and 2021, a time when the Covid pandemic had forced performance venues around the world to cancel or postpone live in-person performances. One of the films, Sarabande, was filmed at the Sepulveda Dam right here in Los Angeles.
