Known for its Zombi Ballet, L.A.’s only annual ballet celebrating the Halloween Season, the Leigh Purtill Ballet Company can not wait until October to celebrate their favorite holiday so they invite you to join them for a “Halloween in August” celebration featuring a screening of the mini-horror film ‘The Dead Shoes’, created by Artistic Director Leigh Purtill, and much more! So, on August 29th, at 4:00pm PST, dress up in your favorite costume and join them for an afternoon of film, prizes, and dance.
The company will kick off the afternoon with a screening of the mini-horror film “The Dead Shoes” which was created by Artistic Director Leigh Purtill.
Stick around after the short film to channel your inner ghoul with a costume contest and a super easy and fun Halloween-themed ballet class! This class is formatted for all monster ages, shapes and sizes so anyone can join!
