Body Weather Laboratory, led by choreographers Oguri and Roxanne Steinberg have announced Flower of the Season 2021 that people get together on Friday and Saturday, November 12 & 13, 2021 at 8:00 pm (PT) and on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 4:00 pm (PT) at the Electric Lodge in Venice, California. These performances are made possible in part by City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affair, the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture, California Arts Council and the Electric Lodge.

The list of artists performing in that people get together include Los Angeles based interdisciplinary performance artist/poet, Michelle Shiu-lin Lai; movement-based performance maker, Chenhui Mao; extreme vocalist, improviser, sound and intermedia artist from Mexico City currently based in LA, Carmina Escobar; and Los Angeles based performance artist Jay Carlon.

Works appearing on the programs include: When “I” becomes “It” by Chenhui Mao; Wake Jay Carlon; and Tidals by Michelle Shiu-Iin Lai. The program will also feature Carmina Escobar.
