Martin Holman is the developer and administrator of this site. Also, he serves as Treasurer of LA Dance Chronicle, administers the email broadcast (typically once a week) and inputs articles submitted into the system when needed.
A lifelong professional in the Information Technology field since the late 1970s. He first worked for Wordplex Corporation, which supplied specialized computer hardware and software to banks and law firms. His work experience includes hardware test and troubleshooting, software development, point of sale hardware integration, managing software development teams as well as hardware and software distributor support teams, and web development. He has worked with Raytheon, Micom Systems, Contel Business Systems, Physicians Health Network, Symantec and Allscripts, among others.
He was also on the board of Urban Community Outreach and managed their “Drop In Center computer lab” for over nine years (2005 – 2015), supporting homeless computer lab users on Sundays. In 2003, along with his son, worked together to make the computer lab using donated equipment from fellow members of First Congregational Church in downtown Long Beach. An early fan of amateur radio (and just about anything else that used electricity), assembled his own shortwave radio at the age of 12 years.
